How many member databases does your Club juggle? If you're like many clubs, you might have at least 3:
And depending on which platform you use for membership data, you might have additional databases for handicaps, results, accounting, point of sale, and more.
The cost of maintaining all of these databases and keeping them in synch can be measured in wasted staff time and member frustration. How many hours per month are spent on synching club data? How many times do members contact your team to update their details or request their password?
Connecting Site Caddy to the BRS Golf tee reservation system will provide a number of benefits for both the Club and the Member:
Single Sign One
Without this integration, most members would have to manage at least two sets of sign-in credentials - one for the Site Caddy website, and one for signing in to the BRS system to book tee times.
After the integration, once a member signs into a password protected area of a Site Caddy website (a secure zone), when they click on a link to book tee times on the BRS system, they will not need to sign in a second time. This will mean a more seamless booking experience for the memember, and that they no longer need to remember the second username and password.
Data Synchronisation
Without the integration, when a member updates their profile in Site Caddy, Site Caddy can send an e-mail to the Club alerting staff of the updates. The staff can then manually update the information in the BRS system to keep the member data in synch.
After the integration, Site Caddy will be able to automatically send updates to the BRS system whenever a member updates their profile, and the BRS system will update that member's profile. So as long as the Site Caddy member database is accurate, the BRS member database should not require updates.
To enable this integration, the Site Caddy database will essentially become the master database, and the BRS system will update its member data based on cues from Site Caddy. To make sure the systems stay in synch, the BRS system can be configured so that member edits are disabled.
Green Island will liaise with BRS on behalf of each Club to configure both Site Caddy and the tee reservation system to enable this integration.
