Regional Golf Sales Director

About Green Island Interactive

Green Island Interactive is an internet solutions and consulting company that has been providing clients in Ireland, the U.K.and North America with creative and effective web solutions since 1999. Due to strong growth and rapid expansion, the company now has openings for Regional Golf Sales Directors in Ireland and the UK.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for creating brand awareness, funneling new business into the Site Caddy system, and assisting with onramping of new clients. Focus on Golf Clubs and Golf Professionals in the Irish and UK markets.

Start Date - Time Frame

This position is open immediately, and needs to be filled as soon as possible. Although this position is available as a 3-6 month contract initially, a full-time position with Green Island will be an option depending on performance. Working remotely is optional, however the candidate should be within commuting distance of our Dublin location.

Experience

Although multiple backgrounds and degrees will be considered, applicants should:

  • Have a strong background in the golf industry
  • Bring an established network of potential clients
  • Have sales experience
  • Demonstrated success in managing high volume programs

Responsibilities

The successful candidate would be responsible for the following:

  • Answering to CEO
  • Working with online marketing team
  • Work with development and support teams to get new clients on-board

Skills

The successful candidate will possess most or all of the following skills:

  • Results-driven
  • Can work with management team to design and optimize new creative solutions in-line with business objectives
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Self-starter with ability to thrive under pressure in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Expert copy writing and marketing skills to drive desired consumer response
  • Passion for social media and online marketing
  • Exceptional communication skills and with a team-first attitude
  • An all around sales super star!

Plusses

All of the following would be advantageous:

  • Knowledge of Green Island's client sectors: Clubs, Pros, Associations, Tourism
  • Familiarity with client regions: Ireland, UK, North America.

Salary

Salary is competitive and based on your experience, and whether position is full-time or contract. Please include salary requirements with CV/Résumé.

Benefits

At Green Island we believe that a modern, flexible working environment is the best way to keep our team happy, reduce costs, and help the environment! While staff are expected to be available for meetings with managers, team members and (possibly) clients on a regular basis, flexible hours can be arranged and teleworking is optional. This position would not entail regular travel, although infrequent trips between New York and Dublin locations may be required. Specific benefits for this position will vary depending on whether it is full-time or contract. Off-site training will be available if required. Excellent opportunity for advancement.
